Chicken Rissoles

Asian inspired chicken rissoles that will be a hit with the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken mince
  • 2 tbsp Wok Out sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger, finely grated
  • 1 shallot or 1/2 red onion, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Pinch Man Grind
  • 1/2 tsp Sesh oil OPTIONAL
  • soy sauce to serve

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.  The mixture is quite wet.

  2. Heat a heavy based pan over a medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.

  3. Add heaped spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot pan and cook for about three minutes on each side or until cooked through.  I did them in batches of four.  The mixture should give you 12 rissoles.

  4. In a small bowl mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce and 1 tsp of Sesh Oil to serve with the rissoles as a dipping sauce or to drizzle over your meal.

  5. Serve with stir fried sesame greens and rice.  Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

These would be amazing as a burger patty for an Asian style burger.  Brioche bun, sesh oil mayo and some shredded cabbage and carrot.  YUM!
